This is my blog

Dear audience,

This is my talent show. This is my Broadway play. This is my feature presentation. Starring: None other than me, myself.

My show may seem boring. My play may seem dull. But it sure is something to do. . and we all love something to do.

It won't be a masterpiece. And it may be no good at all. But it is still. . something to do.

These days, I have become so bored with my daily life that I have decided to write for fun. It is rather humorous to me because at around five this morning I barely finished putting together a mediocre five page paper. I am shocked to see that the paper did not completely ruin my creativity and will to write. It is merely shocking. .

Some thoughts of mine (since this is MY blog, starring me):

Last night it snowed in Knoxville for the first time. I nearly cried as I admired the beautiful flurries that covered the frozen earth beneath my frostbitten feet. Snow is miraculous. .

And this could only mean one thing: Christmas time is almost here. Christmas time is very near. Christmas time. . lend me your ear. As I shout: Christmas time is here!

As I have grown older, I have grown out of the joy of Christmas. Yes, I just made that excitement all up for you. It was completely fake. However, I can still find joy in the thought of Christmas - the reason for Christmas - yes, that still brings me joy. But, what does a grown man like me want for Christmas? What do I need that I don't have? What do I want that I don't own? An Xbox 360. That's what. Yet, I am still unsure on what I want since I know that money does not grow on trees. Oh well. .

Have you ever written a paper where you end up writing something that you don't entirely agree with or believe in just to make a good grade? Is that considered selling out? If so, consider me guilty as charged. I am a sell out. In fact, I sell out in almost every paper I write. Why do you think I do this? Is it because my thoughts are not complete arguments, but instead a heterogeneous mixture of parts of different arguments? Or am I looking too deep into this?

Oh there it is. . there's my brain fart. I've been anxiously awaiting your arrival.

Goodbye, Audience. .

Until next time,
Stephen
